the life of the A, B, C’ S
We took a family hike up to Papago Mountain. It was a great hike for Colin to walk up and down on his own.
Sydney was along for the ride. Have a mentioned on here how much I love the Ergo? I have had no lower back issues since I stopped using the Bjorn. I still wish you could face them outward but I guess I can’t complain too much as you can put it into three positions. Thanks again VanSlykes!
She has been working on crawling for weeks and has finally taken the plunge. Let the baby proofing begin….again!
So I thought I would wrap up all of our late April postings with Easter.
A couple of times a year we are all dressed in nicer close so of course we had to take a bunch of pictures.
We spent the morning going to church, hunting for easter eggs, and eating brunch at my parents house. This picture cracks me up. Colin is busy having his giraffe munch on cousin Kayla’s pancakes. The look on these two faces are great!!
We then went and had a big meal, Easter egg hunting, and card playing at the Willey’s.
We took a bunch of pictures in the Easter folder so make sure to check them. Its hard to just pick out a few to post on here.
Every evening we have a routine of taking a bath before bedtime. This is one of Sydney and Colin’s favorite thing to do in the evening. (That is once you actually get them into the tub)
Just chillin’. Sometimes her square face comes out more than other times. This is the square look and face we get often.
Enjoy the bath time video:
Almost every morning Colin helps get Sydney out of her crib. (Which is usually a couple minutes after he is up because she likes getting up the first time she hears his voice) We start by singing rise and shine and then it always ends in the two of them playing together.
Colin was proud of himself for having Sydney’s pacifier. He always talks about when he is a baby again. Some days I wish I was a baby again too.
Anna and Colin having a conversation with each
For my birthday Brandon took the day off of work to join us at Jumpstreet and apparently B didn’t get the memo that it was red day.
This was definitely the best birthday gift anyone could ever give me….. spending time with my family.
Sydney even joined in on the jumping.
They also have 5 different bounce houses. I love this place! The kids have fun and so do the adults. Well the adults have fun until they wake up the next morning and can barely get out of bed from being so sore.
We are husband and wife, son and daughter learning to love each other more and more each day and to embrace the nuances that make one another unique.
